Good to be busy

Well it didn't last long. We were supposed to make it to June, but we have pretty much thrown in the towel and started taking Knox everywhere. I wanted my family together for Mother's Day so we even took him to church. We've had a busy week and it's been so nice to get out! Knox had his 2 month appointment last week and he has sure sprouted like crazy! Nobody at the doctor's office even recognized him, they all commented that he looks like a different baby now that he is healthy. The nurse said he is one of the longest baby's she has ever seen...no idea where that came from. He is in the 98th percentile for height and in the 60th percentile for weight. So proud of our strong growing boy who is also holding his head up so well!

And this pic goes out to Aunt Jenny...Knox is already getting excited to wear his cowboy boots, he's already asked to try them on.


Dave's brother Devin graduated this week and it was good to be able to get out and join the family at a surprise dinner. Congrats to Devin!

My mom and sister came down and since Dave was camping we made Saturday a girls day but we decided to include Knox. It was the most fun I've had in forever! We shopped, ate out, ate some more, and watched a movie. I love my family!

Aunt Jill flew in for a few short days but Knox was so excited to see her again, he immediately recognized that voice that woke up with him for a week straight! As you can see he enjoyed many kisses from Jill.


Mother's Day was great, it was so fun to celebrate it now that I am a mom! The one big day I want to document and my camera was dead. It was fantastic though and I'm so grateful to be a mother.
