I took him to a splash pool for the first time and that was an even bigger hit! I thought he'd be scared to death at first with water shooting in his face but he loved it. We're learning quickly there are few things this child is afraid of....
And his swimming tube wasn't just a hit in the pool, I couldn't get him out of it at home. He seriously sat in there with his toys around him and played for an hour! It was heavenly. Best $5 I ever spent...
He's been loving playing with other kids. This is his friend William, they met at the library and it's so funny to see them together...
He's become so particular about certain things. His new thing is his cowboy boots! We've been waiting for his ankles to fill out so they'd stay on, he loves them! He brings them to me all day. Thanks Aunt Jenny...they are the coolest boots ever and he thinks so too (again, won't pause for a minute to look at the camera)...
He loves the computer and I can't even attempt to sit at it while he is awake, otherwise I get the boot...
Going along with not being afraid of anything...we took him to Hershey park over the weekend (and saw Uncle Matt, but that is to come later). He LOVED the rides. We even snuck him on the adult log ride where it shoots you down the water, and he loved it. He took it better than I did! He was having the time of his life. The only picture we got was on the world's fastest carousel I swear, I can't believe I didn't throw up on this thing...
Another new preference...he loves to watch his Baby Einstein's in his stroller, with his stuffed rat. Yes, a stuffed rat. It was a white elephant win and it turned out to be a great gift! He turns on the TV, brings me the remote, points at the stroller, and grabs his rat. No guessing what this kid wants...
And the surest sign he is growing up....at 16 months he's showing signs of hair!! I never thought I'd see the day!
He is saying:- Shoes
-Soap (weird right? He's obsessed with pretending to wash himself)
- Mama
- Dada
- Go
- Up
He just had his 15-month well check and he is still growing tall, but thinning out! He was 76% height and only 25% for weight. You'd never know with how much this kid eats!
And one last thing I don't want to forget...my absolute favorite thing he does is he holds my hand all day. When I get him out of the car and set him on the ground, he will not move until he has my hand. When I get him out of his crib, he won't move until he has my hand first. It melts my heart every time! He's growing up too fast!

It sounds like things are really going good for you guys. I hope your morning/afternoon sickness is gone or at least getting better.(I don't know if you get one or the other or both)

Oh my gosh he's cute and I hate reading your posts because it makes me miss you so bad! I always laugh out loud when I read anything you write. I love you Suz!! I can't believe how much that kid is doing. He's so sweet too! I love it.

Oh my gosh! I just love him! He really is growing up and I love hearing all about it! It sounds like u guys are doing so good there but we really can't wait for you to come back!
