I haven't been good at all about blogging or documenting this pregnancy. I guess that's what happens when you have a very busy toddler. Poor kid is going to think we didn't want him as much as we did Knox! I'm 20 weeks now and we just found out we will be adding another
BOY to the brood. We are thrilled! I always wanted two little boys that could play together. They'll be about 22-months apart so they'll be close and hopefully really like each other! I was almost certain for awhile there that it was a girl because I've been a million times sicker this time around and everything seems to be amplified by a hundred in comparison to my last pregnancy but I guess the old tale that girls make you sicker didn't ring true this time around! Another piece of good news...the placenta is in the right place this time! Phew...that alleviates the worry this time around. Next appointment I'll get the date for my c-section which is so crazy! I can't believe we'll know the date (since I'm having this kid so close to Knox, I have to have another c-section). I can't believe how much faster I showed and how much bigger I seem to be. Here is the 20 week shot....

On another note, I had to add this because I think it's so funny. Here is a picture of the fireplace in our home where it all took place...

I started noticing as I was picking up Knox's toys that we were missing all our Jenga pieces. I know he uses them as blocks but I couldn't figure out where they'd all disappeared to. This morning I came around the corner and saw Knox stuffing a toy in a little slot in here. I looked down and saw a few things but couldn't figure out how we'd get to it. Dave came over and took off the top...

And this is what we found...

A giant secret stash of blocks and toys! We about died laughing. We couldn't believe he'd stuffed every thing in that slot! He's been up to it for weeks! Now we're on to him....

My girls are 22 months apart. I think when they were little you had rough days but you just do it. Then looking back you maybe realize it was hard. But now it ROCKS!!! They are best friends!
You look so cute! It will be so fun to have two little boys so close in age!
you look great! And Knox's secret stack is so funny.
Glad you haven't been lighting up that fireplace--that could be dangerous! So excited for you and the little fella on the way. xo
Congrats!! I admit that I secretly hoped I'd have two boys together, but hopefully Cohen and Emmy will be friends anyway. Well, we are SO excited for you guys and I can't believe you're already 20 weeks! Crazy!
Haha, we you are lucky his secret stash consisted of toys! We have these plastic shelf things and we were using one for a table that he could put his snack plate on and I would lay out snacks for him to munch on throughout the day. Well one day we noticed a rotten smell and we couldn't figure out what it was for the LONGEST time. Finally I go to deep clean it and to mop the floor and I discovered the he had been stashing bits of food in the tubes that make up the corners! It was FULL of gross rotten food! UGH! Also, our kids are 22 months apart, its a good age difference! :)
Congratulation on another boy! I am personally a fan of little boys and think it is the best. Zach and Grant are good little buddies. And Knox and this little one will be inseparable. I am so glad that to have found your blog and so I can see what you are up to!
Congrats on the boy!!! I love to see the little mischief they think up! hilarious!
YAY another boy!! Still so excited for you guys! And that's hilarious that Knox figured out how to slip those toys into hiding. Smart little devil!
Congrats! We are about a week or two apart I am 24 weeks, when is your due date?
Just what you wanted! Yay!! You look so cute... I'm glad I saw this before we got together because I kinda forgot you'd be showing and I'd hate for my mouth to drop open when I saw you lol!
