See that thing up there? It is already housing a child with a 10 cm head and weighing in at 8 lbs 5 ounces....and I have 3 weeks to go until my due date! Dave keeps telling people I'm carrying a baby elephant, which may actually be true. My doc sent me to a specialist to see why I'm measuring so large. I keep telling him I just make big babies! The specialist gave us the numbers above and all my hopes for trying for a normal delivery where shattered. It looks like I'm for sure in for another c-section. My due date is the 25th and they scheduled my c-section for the 19th. I've been begging them to move my c-section date up and hoped that after seeing the size of this thing they might comply, however because it's a c-section they don't think it matters. No new date for me. My doctor today said I could easily have a 10 lb baby by my due date. I could be breaking some records here in Scranton!
So, here is to enduring for 2 more weeks! This pregnancy has been a million times harder in about every way but I figure to stay positive I should keep telling myself it's at least 2 more weeks of sleeping through the night...even if that does include a completely numb right arm and waking up for the bathroom every few hours! I've got some serious pelvic pressure and walking has become a task all it's own. Sad I know, but I have a 10 cm head down there that's already dropped! We're slowly but surely getting ourselves ready and can't wait to meet this baby!

i can't believe they're not working with your due date more with such a big baby! if you were in utah, you'd be having him earlier i bet. good luck the next 2 weeks! maybe you'll go into labor soon so you can still have the 11th?? :)
woohoo for ten pound babies!! Audrey was 8 lbs 4 oz--can't imagine any bigger! Hope that little guy decides to come earlier rather than later. :)

I am totally banking this kid comes before the 19th! I bet that your water breaks or you go into labor and then you have to have a c-section! Sorry your vaginal delivery dreams were shattered. You are in our prayers!
