Run of the mill

By now you all should know that Knox doesn't like to contract run of the mill illnesses, so when he came down with a pretty wicked cough and cold this weekend I got a little nervous. Due to the eye infection, crazy looking rash thing on his face (still do not know what it is), and the distended belly issues I was hesitant to call the doctor again for the umpteenth time this month. I really should just plan on changing pediatrician's every 3 or so months because this is getting ridiculous. The mother in me finally prevailed and I called on Monday after a night of about 2 hours of sleep. The doc called me back and said the symptoms sounded like they could be Swine flu...ha ha, since I have been joking about him getting that since that madness started. She thought we ought to get him tested just to be safe since he would fall into the high risk category. I was certain it would be Swine flu with the way this kid likes to operate.

The results are back and we finally can say we have just a run of the mill illness! It's a liberating feeling I must admit. He just has the rhinovirus or common cold. I can do this kind of thing!

Here he is, just relaxing and fighting his run of the mill cold.

He's moved on from the ole' dolphin head tilt. Oh and don't worry that my 3 month old weighed in at 15 lbs already. That has got to be some sort of record.

He is so cute. They catch everything when they are so little. Ryan was so sick the first year! It does get better!

He looks like he's putting his arms up in victory for not having Swine Flu! He's so cute and I'm so happy he doesn't have that!
