Not so bad

Last year since I was pregnant, Dave took the liberty to try canning and did some tomatoes and beans. I must admit, I'm so intimidated by canning. This year, I ran out of excuses and decided that I would have a go at my all time favorite canned item....my grandma's dill pickles. We grew our cucumbers and our own dill and I must say, it wasn't so bad. I'm so excited to taste them and was so proud that they all sealed.

I also made some raspberry jam from our crop of raspberries, we've gotten so many this year.

I might be signing myself up for a lot more if Dave ever reads this, but I must admit I quite enjoyed canning. I feel domestic!
