-My son didn't shove his own feces in my mouth as I was sleeping and ask "Mommy, what's this?"
- We were moving in 3 days and had everything packed and ready instead of barely surviving the last five days while my husband worked every day and night at the ER.
- I had decided to start my strict dietary restrictions AFTER the move, instead of researching every GF pit stop on the way home and will have to pack a separate bag of just food.
- Both of my kids were healthy. Of course on the week we're moving Wes decides to get REALLY sick and require constant attention day and night.
-We were all healthy. Wes decided it wasn't fun to be sick alone so he gave it to all of us too.
- My aforementioned poop-loving son didn't hand me his diaper during nap time and pee all over in his crib.
- I was accepted immediately to insurance instead of having to lose sleep for weeks over it.
- I was always responsible and didn't drive off with a library DVD on my car. Now I subsequently will have to pay $20 for a Handy Manny DVD that we never watched.
- My wedding ring stayed right where I put it. Instead, as we're packing I'm also looking everywhere for my most precious possession.
- There wasn't a dead animal living somewhere in our garage.
- Knox hadn't decided to smash play-dough into the rug that we just sold to the girl moving in after us.
- We were smart and didn't decide to drive across the country with two children under two. I'm sure that will be a million laughs in and of itself. But one of those things you can't laugh about for years later because it is still a little too traumatizing to think about.
- Gas was a reasonable price, like I'd even take $3.00 a gallon.
- I could address the pile of things that HAVE to get done instead of blogging because my baby won't let me put him down.
- And for reals, he just pooped all over me, down the chair, and to the floor.
Lastly, life really wouldn't be funny if I didn't look like this right now....

Good thing we have all these experiences so that we can get a laugh in, even if it's not funny until after the fact.

Oh suz! Get yourself right over to our house and I will play with your hair :) I'm so sorry this is such a crazy week...so much will be behind you when you hit the road on friday!
gah! that sounds like my life right before we left for Utah! i hope everything goes better and life settles down a bit. i'm sad we didn't get together with you guys while we were in town, but we had too much going on, we didn't have a down day at all. one day we went to salt lake for a tennis tournament, back down to provo canyon for rafting, back to alpine for dinner, american fork for a movie, then back to woodland hills for the night. and that was how every day felt!! we'll be in town for 6 weeks over christmas, so we'll have plenty of time to play!!
that was the longest comment ever.
New blog post, how am I supposed to stalk you if you don't update?
