Wessels

Yep, that is his nickname. Wessels. It totally stuck and seems to fit him perfectly. Dave keeps hounding me that I'm not documenting our life as good as I should so I've resolved to be a better blogger. Maybe I should commit myself to that "a blog a day" thing. I seem to do better with a little motivation. My little Wessels has turned into the funniest kid. He is just oozing personality and keeps us laughing on a daily basis. He turned one in January and is busiest kid I have witnessed. A few of my favorite things.....

If this kid wants something, he finds a way to get it....

We are going to have a gigantic problem with TV time. He LOVES the TV, namely "Baby Einstein" and "Yo Gabba Gabba"....

It's a good thing he has really taken a liking to reading lately to take away from that love of TV. He follows me around all day with books. In the morning before Knox wakes up we read a lot. Literally, for like 45 minutes.

He finally had his first hair cut....

He loves his tubs. The funniest thing that has happened in a long time.....I got out of the tub this morning and as I was putting my clothes on I thought I heard splashing. I went to explore and found this little dude trying to enjoy the last of the water before it all drained out!

He also has some jacked up teeth, which I find adorable. His gum line on the right side is lower then on the left as evidenced below. So cute!

The poor peanut has been sick a lot too. He's had a lot of ear infections and recently just ruptured his ear drum. He spikes really high fevers and we've even ended up in the ER because of a febrile seizure. I can always tell when he has a high fever...it is the ONLY time he holds still.

And one last picture that I love of the little fella....

Ole' King Wessels! We sure love you!

How cute and BIG is he?! I can't believe our babies are little kids now. Abbie and him are two peas in a pod, they would have had a blast terrorizing good ol' Scranton together.
