Currently

I am not doing a very good job at blogging (or a lot of things for that matter) but I'd like to freeze my kids exactly where they are....

(Knox in his Christmas shepherd costume. Not to be confused with a karate ninja)

Currently, Knox is killing me. In so many good ways, and so many hard ways. Since moving to Utah his speech has just taken off and he talks non-stop. He's a giant tease who loves to poke fun at everyone. Dave is now known as "Diaper Dave" according to Knox. He also refers to me as Suzy. He also likes to sing the ABC's now starting out normal, and then finishing with words he's not supposed to be saying. He thinks he's hilarious, and even though I can't really admit it, I do too. He has been saying the sweetest things to me and I dread the day when he doesn't love his mommy anymore. Yesterday he said, "Mommy, you beautiful. You a princess." I may or may not have shed a tear or two. He's also a gigantic bully to his little brother and I'm just patiently waiting for the day when they can play together instead of Knox pushing him, blocking him, kicking him, etc. Does that end? He also is so particular about if his hands are clean and if his toys are in the right order. Cute, but frustrating. I guess I have no one to blame but myself for those genes :) He still loves to sleep and takes at least a 3 hour nap daily. I have to wake him up so he'll go to bed at a good time still. I hope he never outgrows that! We love our Knox.

Oh my sweet Wessels! And yes, he is now referred to as Wessels by everyone. Who knew that would be his nickname and that it would stick! He is the busiest kid I've ever seen. I never had to child proof my house with Knox and already this kid is giving me a giant run for my money. He is the sweetest little guy and always has a gigantic smile on his face. I absolutely love the age he is right now and if I could just pop my kids out at this age I'd have 10! He entertains himself and is so smart at figuring out toys. He could walk if he wanted to, but is a faster little bugger at crawling so I don't know how soon he'll be giving that up. He can be feisty when he needs to be, but he's very patient with Knox constantly bullying him. He LOVES Knox which I can't figure out. I'll put Knox in time-out for hitting Wes, and Wes will try so hard to find him so he can see him. He has two bottom teeth and he's getting fangs on top. This kid is always happy!

Dave has loved being back in Utah. I'm pretty sure he was gone every weekend in October hunting. I begged to move back to Pennsylvania :) He has been loving his rotations thus far. He is currently during a surgery rotation and his hours are like 5am-7pm so he might be singing a different tune after this one. He is so glad he chose to go back to school and do this profession. He absolutely loves what he is doing. He will graduate in August and finally we can be done with school!

I have been busy with the boys and also got a job working one day at week at the auto auction. I do clerking for an auctioneer and have absolutely loved it. It gives me just the break I need each week and it's been fun to interact with adults :) I also teach piano the same day in the afternoon. I love that as well. I've enjoyed being around my sisters and other family however I'd be lying if I didn't say I still deeply miss my Scranton friends. It was a harder adjustment than I thought moving back but it's been so fun to be home.

And there ya have it, our family update!

you are a babywise mom? how could someone who brought me the magic of the swaddle sack like babywise? :-) you should warn me before I rant next time. I also hate crock pots, but I own one now...so much for principles.
