And I was sold. Pure genius! How did I not think of the Snuggie? Dave and I probably spent an hour arguing over what I feel is the pure brilliance of the Snuggie. He thinks it's about the worst product made, and I would like to kick myself for not thinking of it first. For days on end, I talked about the Snuggie nonstop. I think I made everyone I talked to watch the infomercial online. I searched the internet every day to see where I could purchase a Snuggie and where I could catch the best deal. If it wasn't for the constant taunting of my husband, I would have purchased the Snuggie weeks ago.
Every year for Valentine's Day, Dave and I eat at our favorite place on earth....Outback. We decided as usual, no presents this year. Outback is always our gift to each other. My grandpa would be proud, I practically licked the juice off my plate, there was nothing left.
A big dinner and a late reservation does numbers on a pregnant woman so we headed home after Outback. As I headed off to bed, I pulled back the sheets and to my surprise a SNUGGIE! My husband swallowed every ounce of pride and bought me my current obsession. I don't think I've ever been happier in my life. I know, we said no gifts but that was the best rule he has ever broken. Seriously, I think they found their new poster child, I couldn't be more pleased with my new gift! Best Valentine's ever!
(I'll just go ahead now and apologize for the pregnancy cheeks)

I agree, you model that snuggie VERY well! :) And I also must say that I am TOTALLY JEALOUS!!! Who on earth wouldn't want a snuggie???... I mean, when I say the feature that lets your hands stay free while still staying warm under the blanket, I was sold! And I'm being completely serious, I want to own one! You are one lucky gal you little lady! :)
I love it! Late night infomercials are usually the worst too. they always get you! But you look adorable in it so Dave can't be too sad! How fun, I love your tradition.
Haha this post is great! Bryce and I saw the Snuggie ad not too long ago and thought the commercial was so funny, but you're right... who wouldn't want one!!? It will come in handy when you're cold and need to hold a baby still! You look adorable.
That is too funny. I've seen that commercial several times and I always have to laugh but they do have a point. I hate when I'm reading and my arms get cold because they are out of the blanket. You have a sweet husband.
You guys are funny. Mike and I have had our laughs about the snuggie. Our favorite is on the commerical when they are wearing their sunggies at the sports game. You go girl! Hope you are feeling well!
Oh man this is a good post! I love it!
Suzy you are funny! Did you get bangs? They are beautiful! I hope you're still feeling good-keep me posted!
So cute! Ben tells me everyday how he hates that infomercial I think I am just going to get him one of these days to piss him off. How much long til your little guys is born?
You are so funny! I'm glad you have something to keep you warm! Especially for those cold nights/mornings when you are up nursing ;). BTW, I just noticed you are back to beautiful blonde! Looks great, although I really did like the dark too.
SHUT UP!!!!!! I am laughing so hard right now. Dave is the coolest person I know to have bought that for you!!
James and I have seen that commercial so many times and laugh just because they are so cheesy! But you look so dang cute and cozy it makes me want one!
Shut up. My favorite part of those commercials is when the family of Snuggie wearers is at a game and they look like cult members surrounded by normal people. I crack up every time.
So I can't believe you can't get insured after your fertility drug. I hope you can figure something out.
Suz- hilarious post. I think it was so funny because everyone can relate. Such a functional product!
Good luck with the babes.
You look like the most comfortable smurf I've ever seen. One with cute bangs at that...what a Snuggie sexpot! I also think that's like the biggest smile I've ever seen on your face and for that reason alone, I'm totally sold. And I think you can pull off wearing that to church...it's not pants right?
Oh my gosh you are killing me. I have a funny story about that Snuggie.. my mother in law sent me one for christmas. Mind you I had never heard of it before.. we were in England and I was without American Infomercials. So we were like... what the heck is this.. my husband put it on and posed like Moses.. so when I got to the US and saw all the commercials for it.. I was like.... ohhhhh... I love the part in the commercial where they are all roasting marshmellows with them on.... now that IS pure genius! I got the red one but I looove your blue!!
I'm seriously laughing at that post. I think everyone has a snuggie story. Personally, we have inside jokes with my family (we always tease my mom saying she needs a snuggie to comfort her, she doesn't really have one though!) The store down the street sold them at $4 each and they sure were gone fast! I also saw a thing on the news about how they have sold millions and millions of them! So funny.
Make sure you let me know when that kid comes!
Ba ha ha!! I can't believe Dave did it. Wow...that's awesome. I bet lil buddy likes it too!
