We got one of our big projects done for the baby room and it ended up being a much larger project then either of us anticipated. We were lucky to inherit a crib and dresser from my mom, it is the crib she had with all of us girls. I had so many ideas of how I wanted to refinish it, but realized my options were limited because I'd already purchased my bedding and the crib had to be brown. The crib was cream with blue on every knob, I wish I had some before pictures. We wanted to stain it a dark cherry brown but as we started sanding, we realized the crib had been painted one too many times. I was hesitant to paint it brown because I was sure it would just look weird but Dave convinced me and went to work. After a few trips to Home Depot and MANY hours put in by Dave we finally have the crib done! I didn't realize the time it would take to sand down every bar on that crib, paint it, sand it again, paint it, and then distress it. So thanks to my amazing husband! One project down....many more to go!

That bedding is so cute! Way to go on the re-finishing of the crib and dresser, that's a lot of work but well worth it, it turned out great, I love the color! You're getting so close! How exciting! :)
Isn't it funny how when you just want something done you want it done... even though it ends up being a huge hassle!? Looks good though, worth it right? So when exactly is this baby supposed to come? I have no idea at this point and need to be prepared!
Too cute! I think it was worth all the effort!
Cute Suz! I always get into projects that take way more time and resources than I originally planned. It was worth it on your part.
