Monotony

I don't think anything gets more monotonous then hospital life. It can get pretty taxing. After 5 weeks I think I've played every game, searched every website, read every magazine, and walked every hall. I decided today I needed something to change it up a bit and to improve my outlook. So, every day I'm going to find something funny or positive that happens during the day and I'm going to blog about it. Hopefully it's just one or two days and then we'll be home....or else I may lose my viewership real quick!

So for today, I must share a picture of my little burrito's (they swaddle him like crazy here) sleeping habits:

Meet our little dolphin. Doesn't that look so uncomfortable? No matter what I do he ends up like that. I try to put towels around his head so he can hold it straight and I'll come back and he'll have nudged them out of the way. He hates to be held while sleeping because he can't get his head back like that. Every morning I walk in that is what I see and I still think it's the funniest thing ever. I'm starting to wonder now though if he has been putting his head like that to open his airways! I'm hoping it's not a serious medical complication but more or less him just dreaming about dolphins.
