The Good Life

Today as I was playing with the boys, this song (you must listen to the chorus to know what I'm talking about) came on and images like these came to mind...

And through the hitting, crying, poopy diapers, and sleepless nights, there is no question that this is the good life. I know, super duper cheesy but as this song randomly played on my Pandora station, for that 4:01 it seems that I saw the world a little more clearly today. Raising these boys is what life is all about and I know one day I will look back with the fondest of memories of this time in my life and forget how hard it sometimes is with a husband knee deep in school and me knee deep in diapers. I feel so blessed to have these three boys and I'm so grateful for my life!

You are so right!! I love that song I had never heard it before. I know my girls are not much older than your boys but your right.. once you are past all the diapers and no sleep...you do look back and just smile!! Cause that is "happiness".

Sweet reminder Suz! I do miss those days. So hard but SO wonderful!

I love this post Suz! I love moments/days that life focuses on the things/people that matter, and all the monotony/pessimism dissolves in the background. We have to hold onto those moments, don't we?!

Scranton sure turned you into a cheesebucket. Kidding! I love this. Drew and I always talk about all the great memories we will have to look back on. I love Knox with his pigs. Just tell him not to invite the blue rhino for a sleepover or he'll have to deal with chubs magee and it will not be pretty.

So sweet! I have had that thought too. However hard this seems now I know I am going to miss Zac being little.
