Since the minute Wes was born, everyone has been telling us he looks just like Knox but I'll be honest, I just couldn't see it. It seems Wes already wants to be like his big brother. The little guy came down with something this week and because he had a fever, they put our peanut in the hospital and had to do a full work-up to make sure it's nothing serious. This of course includes all the mean tests like a spinal tap, urine sample, IV line, etc. So sad. We're hoping it's just a viral bug and that we'll be out of here in no time, but we have to wait for the cultures to come back tomorrow before they'll release us. Since I've had some time now that I'm just hangin at the hospital, I went back through some old pictures of Knox and couldn't believe my eyes!
Here is Knox at the exact same age when he was in the hospital....

And here is Wes....

If I didn't know better I'd think that was the same kid! I was telling Wes he can look like his brother but I don't appreciate him following in these footsteps :) We were laughing last night that we're two-for-two on our kids having spinal taps and that all the spirits in heaven are begging to not get sent to this family. Can't say I'd blame them.
Even better, Dave's brother just text me and told me to get used to hospital life. I did make Tranter boys and this is kind of what they do. Good thing they're so cute in the sexy hospital gowns....

And good thing they grow up healthy and strong and the only recollection they will have is when we show them these pictures :)

Ugh, so sorry to hear he needed to go to the hospital. That's sad to put him through all those tests! I hope it all comes out okay. What cute boys!!
I'm so sorry you have to do this again. Hopefully it's just a little viral thing and you'll be home soon. Wish I could bring you dinner or take Knox for you.
We went through that with Reese when she was 4 days old. It was terrible, and my heart goes out to you. I hope everything turns out fine and that you all get to go home soon. We were only in the hospital for 5 days, but it was the longest five days of my life. I hope your time spent there is much shorter. Keep us posted. Until then, you'll be in our prayers.
Oh man! I was so sad to hear the news. Hope all feel better soon!
Poor Wes! Poor YOU! From what I hear too about Tranter boys you should enjoy kissing their little fingers too. ;) I hope he is feeling better!
